As tomorrow is our last day of school, were all excited and will most likely be counting down the hours or watching the time for like ever until one o'clock comes around. Everyone is super excited for summer break 2013. But the depressing part about this year ending is that, next year half of my friends won't be there. But I can always make new ones. At least many students will have memories of us.

Last Week..

Well, as we move onto our last week of school, its bitter sweet! As many high schoolers are enjoying it being closer to the year, others realize how depressing it is at times. Yes, it might be all fun now about to get out of school and get ready for summer but at the same time many people don't want to leave all their friends... but then again they could always chatted each other up in the summer time if they really wanted to see them and if not then you know they were't actually going to miss that person very much! Now, tuesday is rolling around and many of my senior friends have messaged me saying how they miss everyone and everything, but their all off to bigger and better things now, and sad to think but they'll go off and make whole new friends and not even remember the ones in which they had went to high school with half their life. But hopefully those friends stay in contact just a little bit. Hope everyone has an amazing summer!!:)

Lucy(LuLu) Buffet

As I was at work this weekend, I had the best time ever!! I had spent Saturday and Sunday with Ms. Lucy at work! This was the best experience. She has basically became my role model, after all the stories that she told us about her life and how at one point she was a single mother with no job then she told us how she created LuLu's. Lucy Buffet is an amazing person! The stories that she told us about her life was amazing to hear because then after she tells her stories about what her life was before she started the LuLu business and what a difference she made into her life, just to do what she needed in order to take care of her daughter when Ms. Lucy was a single mother! Mrs. Lucy had done whatever it took to be able to support her daughter when she was little. It had changed my life when I was able to meet and talk to Ms. Lucy this weekend!

Living in GS

Living in Gulf Shores is something that I would ever want to change. Throughout my life I've lived in Georgia, Mississippi, New York and now here in Gulf Shores. Out of all the places I've lived at so far I have to thing that Gulf Shores is probably the best for me. There is always people to meet which is fun... also theres things to do with most of your friends unless you go over and over again then it might get pretty boring. Most of us will normally go to the beach or the movies if were looking for something to do. It don't get that boring because theres all sorts of things to do at the beach... and there's always new movies that come out in theaters so you will always have a different movie that you will like to see. On top of all that most of the local teens have pretty good jobs, well most of then get paid pretty good. So what most of the local teens will do when they get off work or even before work is that they will always try to make plans with their friends just to give then something to do before they go into work or whenever they get off work.

Senior Year

As it gets closer to getting out of school for the summer, and seeing all my senior friends graduate soon it makes me realize how fast my high school years have gone.. it seems like just yesterday most of us was just in 9th grade and saying how we wish that we would be senior already so we can graduate and now that we only have 3 weeks left before we are seniors.. nobody is ready to graduate quite yet and that we all hope our senior year goes by slow.. It might be depressing at times next year but we will all make the best of it, and have the best year of our senior year and well our every last day of high school ever.

The Weekend

This weekend is going to be amazing... going to hang out with some amazing friends and my family who in which I absolutely adore. All of us will be spending most of the weekend at the beach and basically just in town and barely at home, plus no working this weekend! My family and friends mean everything to me... So I'm ready to party it up this weekend, it'll be the best weekend ever!:)

True Friends..

Many people never really know who their true friend is until they get to know them a little bit more and the older they get. Most middle schoolers now days believe that they need to have all the friends in the world. The majority of them just don't realize that their not actually their friends, thats just what they got them thinking. Even high schoolers don't realize who their true friends are in the beginning, but as soon as it gets to your Junior and Senior year of High School, you will notice most of the people that you "thought" was your friend turns out that their not and they was just using you this whole time for most things.

Color Me Rad

Color me rad is just pretty much a huge party in which its a 5k run. Many people enjoy going to color me rad because its a lot of fun (so i've heard). As you run your 5k, the people who run with you as well  will have color packets in their hands and they will throw color at you as you run and you can do the same to the people that your running with. I will be participating in the color me rad 5k run in May or so whenever it come to my town, I am beyond excited basically cause it will be fun to do and ill be with my family and friends who are going to join with me!

Jet Skiing, Boating, etc...

Some of my favorite things to do on the water in the summer is go Boating, Jet Skiing, and really anything else that has to do with water.
Water activities is basically my life. I absolutely love it. I will pretty much do anything that has to deal with boats, jet skis, swimming, and etc..
Basically half of my life I'm normally around the water. Then about every summer I would either be at the beach in the water, or out on a boat of some type.

Lulu's at Homeport Marina

Lulu's is a Restaurant/Gift Shop, and they have so much more. Lulu's is owned by Jimmy Buffets Sister. Many families in the summer will go to Lulu's to have a little bit of fun. Most families will normally spend hours and hours there depending on what they went there for like of some have little kids they might go eat, play in the sand, or the rope course. And like for the older people, they might play volleyball, go eat, go to the gift shop, or even go to the bar. Everyone who comes to Lulu's seems to enjoy it there. Its basically just a fun, happy enviroment there.

Time to get the party started!

Its Friday and its almost time to get the party started for the weekend, which sometimes requires hanging out with friends, going to the beach, out to dinner, and so much more!
Many teens are always ready for the weekend cause that means a break from school for at least two days. So pumped that its the weekend! Who's ready to party it up?! I know I am!!

Spring Break

Spring Break in Alabama is probably the best especially when you live on the beach! Many tourist come to Alabama/Florida for Spring Break to spend time at the beach, and the kids that live in Alabama/Florida normally enjoy Spring Break and the people coming down that way they can meet new people. Basically Spring Break in the South is just a BIG party. People are already getting ready for Spring Break 2013. Just a week or two tourist will start heading down to get the party started! Time to make memories in Alabama or Florida!!:)

Glow Stick Light Show

I have been to a talent show where one of my really good friend was in it, and he had came up with the idea to use glow sticks. He would have the lights turned off in the auditorium then he would have a song in which he would do the glow stick light show too. Everyone was amazed by how he had managed to do this during the talent show. We all had asked him how he had came up with the idea and he said that one night he had gotten bored and he had some glow sticks so he had attached string to the glow sticks then he blared his music, stood in front of the mirror and just started doing something random, to come up with his idea.

Drawing

• As in the picture below, you can most likely tell that I enjoy drawing, well sometimes it normally depends on if i'm actually in the mood to draw or if I have to time to actually sit down and take my time. 
• Many people in my family, claims that I had gotten my drawing skills from my great grandma. She had always drew things for her kids and grandkids (in which since my mom is her grand-daugher we still have some of her drawings hanging up in our house). 
• The picture below this drawing had taken me exactly a week and a half. Over half of my friends have seen the picture of this drawings and automatically loved it... (well so they say) they all said that they loved the words in the drawing had patterns around it. My family and friends are basically the ones that encourage me to draw cause they always want me to draw them something and when I do their happy.

Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is normally a big thing in the South.
Thousands of people in the south will go to most Mardi Gras Parades every year. Mardi Gras is a big thing that has been going on for years. Alot about the Mardi Gras parades have changed within those years. For Mardi Gras every year most schools get out for like a day or two so the people who go to Mardi Gras Parades, Celebrate or anything won't have to worry about going to school the next day but either way if school was in after Mardi Gras weekend most people would not go to school. If you have never been to a Mardi Gras parade and you think that they would be fun and interesting to go to then probably most people would suggest that you go to one, one day within your life time.

Music & Friends

As many of my friends and family may know, I enjoy listening to music and hanging out with friends.
Most of my days I enjoy going to ride around in my car with friends, roll down the windows and blare the music. Then on the days that I have a lot going through my mind, I will normally load up in my car, ride around, and listen to music just to get some things off my mind. Music is basically my get away from my problems that I have every now and then. I normally just like to listen to music in general whether i'm having a bad day or not.

About Me!

I live in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
I love the summer, mainly because I enjoy going to the beach, hanging out with friends and doing activities out on the water such as jet skiing, boating, etc...
There's always something to do during the summer when you live at the beach.. way more than there is to do in the winter, well so me and my friends say.
I believe that people who have never seen a beach like the South's beaches then they really need to take a visit one day, because you would never know it they might have a opinion on what their beaches look like compared to ours.

A PUBLIC PLACE

A public place that most tourist and locals up north would visit when they had either visited or live Western New York. There is a cemetery there called Mount Albion Cemetery. When you had went to the cemetery there would be hills and just layers of head stones all over, there was also a Cemetery Tower. In this tower you would be able to climb to the top and most of the time on good clear days you would be able to see Canada or Niagara Falls. Many people enjoyed going to visit this area because to some it was a whole different thing to them going to Mount Albion Cemetery. Also in the tower located in Mount Albion Cemetery would be names of soldiers who had fought in WWII.
